Farmhouse

If anyone told me that purposely creating a farmhouse interior would be the “in” thing 40 years ago I would have laughed. But who could blame anyone? The rustic, the broken down, the well used has a certain charm and beauty. Just ask my antique rugs filled with holes that I love all over my house 😅

When you don’t have the access or the funds for the real antiques it would take to create a farmhouse interior, I’ve sourced some pretty good substitutes for your viewing pleasure.

I love the airy, open look of this hanging pendant. This is the exact one I have hanging over my kitchen island.
When my old ratty looking rugs finally need to go bye-bye, you can be sure I will be replacing them with these distressed options.
